Funerals

At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church prays with and for the deceased  because of our confident belief that death is not the end nor does death break the bonds forged in life.  The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the sacrament of the Eucharist.

When Someone Dies:
Please contact the funeral home of your choice to make final arrangements.  Then, please email  Fr. Jeffrey Horejsi or Fr. Mike Doyleand/or call them at the parish office(320) 693-3313 - to arrange a date/time for the services.  The priest and the parish staff will assist you in making plans for the Funeral Mass and Visitation.  The selection of appropriate readings and prayers will allow for a personalized and meaningful Mass to celebrate the life of the deceased.  We have a funeral guide to help with the planning.  Please contact the parish office for more information.

If you choose to have the Visitation here at the Church, we will offer support and assistance to you.  We also offer a luncheon after the funeral service.
