Anointing of the Sick

Jesus showed great care and concern for the sick and disabled. We continue His care today through the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.  The Church’s ritual is meant for all who are ill or physically disabled, and anyone who needs the healing of Christ in their lives.

If families feel there is a need for the sacrament to be celebrated at home, in a nursing home or in the hospital, or before a major medical procedure, they are asked to call the parish and schedule a time to receive the sacrament from a priest. The parish also celebrates this sacrament communally twice a year in the spring and fall.

Hospital visits - Please inform the parish office whenever you or a family member is hospitalized so a priest or other pastoral minister can visit.  Many times, the parish does not know this information until a family member calls.
